Uganda Day 22
Violent apprehension crashes around her feet
Her hands quake as change edges into her perfect box
The sky is bleak and dreary
The clouds hang heavy as before a tumultuous storm
Her instinct is to run but her feet refuse reason
As if nailed down she maintains her ground
Her eyes begin to fill and adrenaline rushes into her veins
Suddenly her resolve is restored
She raises trembling hands to the screaming sky
And casts her tearing eyes to heaven
Screaming with her heart she calls out
Sinking to her knees she sees him come running
Tears run in streams down his face as he wraps her in a solid embrace
He gathers her up into his sinewy arms and instantly she is warmed
The storm still gathers and thunders
But in his love she is grounded
He will carry her through
